The Foundation operates on the basis of a governance structure built in line with international standards of transparency, accountability and institutional independence.

Governing bodies

General Assembly of Founders

The Foundation's supreme governing body: determines strategic direction, approves key decisions and policies, and provides overall oversight of compliance with the Foundation's mission and statutory objectives.

Director

The Foundation's chief executive officer: strategic and operational management, representing the Foundation's interests, ensuring compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international governance standards.

Deputy Director

Coordination of operational work and project implementation, acting within delegated authority.

Accounting and HR

Financial management, HR administration and internal financial control in accordance with legal requirements and donor reporting standards.

Auditor

Independent oversight of the Foundation's financial and business activities, ensuring transparency, accountability and proper use of funds.

Youth and Volunteering Committee

Youth development projects, raising awareness of human rights, internships, summer schools and mentoring programmes.

Research Committee

Legislative Drafting Committee

Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Legal and institutional analysis of legislation and practice on the rights of persons with disabilities; recommendations on the accessibility of buildings, services and digital solutions.

Children's Rights Committee

Analysis of legislation and practice on the protection of children's rights; monitoring of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child; research on children's wellbeing and safety.

Gender expertise of laws, government programmes and projects; monitoring of CEDAW obligations; elimination of direct and indirect discrimination.

Housing Committee

Innovation and IT Projects Committee

Editorial Office

Publication of collections of articles, reports and monographs; management of the Foundation's online journal; dissemination of analytical and scientific materials.
